New York: US President Donald Trump's daughter-in-law has filed for divorce from her husband Donald Trump Jr. Vanessa Haydon Trump, 40, filed for divorce in a Manhattan court. The New York Times said Vanessa is seeking an uncontested divorce to end her 12-year marriage. The couple has five children. Trump Jr, 40, is the eldest of five children from President Trump's three marriages. PTI
Carlos the Jackal loses bid to fight sentences
Paris: A French court has thrown out a last ditch bid by left-wing revolutionary Carlos the Jackal, once one of the world's most wanted militants, to fight a life-in-jail conviction for a deadly grenade attack in Paris 44 years ago. The self-declared "professional revolutionary", whose real name is Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, has spent close to quarter of a century behind bars since he was captured in Sudan by French special forces in 1994. China to bar people with bad ‘social credit’
Shanghai: China will begin applying its so-called social credit system to flights and trains and stop people who have committed misdeeds from taking such transport for up to a year. People who would be put on the restricted lists included those found to have committed acts like spreading false information about terrorism and causing trouble on flights, as well as those who used expired tickets or smoked on trains. Those found to have committed financial wrongdoings or who failed to pay fines would also face these restrictions from May 1. Reuters
