Wynberg Allen School declared overall champion

Wynberg Allen School was declared the overall champion in the 17th Annual Inter-School Invitational Athletics Meet here today.

Swaty Singh Malik, a Supreme Court advocate, was the guest of honour and declared the meet open.

Jotish Kumar from SGC was declared the winner in 800m and high jump, while Siddharth Gosai from Wynberg Allen School won 100m race and long jump event. Abhay Singh from RIMC won the 1500m race, Redik Yadav from SGC won 800 m while Deo Anand from Wynberg Allen School was declared winner in triple jump.

Varnika and Siddartha Gosain from Wynberg Allen School were declared champion in the sub-junior divisions, Tanya Gupta from Waverly Convent and Kislay Krishnan from Wynberg Allen School won in the junior divisions, Deo Anand of Wynberg Allen School and Ananya Surira of Wynberg Allen School won in the intermediate divisions while Phaeba John and Rajyavardhan Singh of Wynberg Allen School were declared champions in the senior division. Wynberg Allen School Principal L Tindale congratulated the winners.
