Ludhiana, February 1
Zindagi Live Foundation organised its 50th voluntary blood donation camp in which 324 units of blood were collected by renowned hospitals of Ludhiana, where thalassaemic patients were undergoing treatment.
 
The camp was inaugurated by Praveen Sony Bakshi, president of the foundation. He prayed for the thalassaemic patients and thanked the donors who whole-heartedly supported the foundation in the noble cause. Rajesh Kapoor, manager of the foundation, said Team Zindagi Live was now sponsoring 101 thalassaemic patients from across Punjab with the cost of transfusion, medicines and filters. The blood was collected by a team of doctors from the DMCH, CMC and Civil Hospital, Ludhiana.
Till date, Team Zindagi Live has collected more than 5,800 units of blood since the date of its 
inception i.e. since September 2011.
