680 students get free stationery from Book Bank in Sirsa

Baba Sarsainath Book Bank distributed free stationery to 680 students at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mela Ground, Sirsa, during the morning assembly on Wednesday. The stationery was provided with Rs 2 lakh grant from the Chief Minister’s voluntary fund.

On the occasion, Book Bank president Gurdeep Saini, general secretary Prem Kandoi, Anil Saini, and Ranjeet Singh Takkar were present along with school officials Anil Bhatia, Balwinder Jatan, Devanand, Radheshyam and the staff. Gurdeep Saini and Anil Bhatia said many students lagged behind in studies due to lack of stationery. To help such students, the Book Bank had started the support campaign.

Later, 80 more students of Government Girls Primary School-01, Sirsa, received free stationery. School officials appreciated the efforts of the Book Bank, saying that the organisation was doing excellent work in the field of education.

Besides giving books, the bank also regularly distributed stationery in schools, helping students continue their studies smoothly.

Social worker Sanjay Goyal Saria Wale, Prem Kandoi, Anil Saini and Ranjeet Takkar were also present. The Book Bank has adopted the school and will continue to provide all required stationery to its students.
