Now, travel from Jaipur to Delhi in 3 hours with new link road to e-way

“We have successfully completed 66.916-km, 4-lane Greenfield Bandikui Spur, constructed at a cost of Rs 2,016 crore,” Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said.

The newly opened Bagrana–Bandikui link promises to cut travel time between Jaipur and Delhi to just 3 to 3.5 hours, down from the usual 4.5 hours.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced that no toll will be charged on this stretch for the first ten days. This strategic link starts at Bagrana, on the eastern outskirts of Jaipur, and connects directly to Bandikui, which feeds into the main corridor of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

“It allows vehicles from central Jaipur, especially areas around Rotary Circle and Ring Road, to bypass the heavily congested Jaipur-Agra highway through Dausa. Access to the expressway is now smoother than ever, with a slip lane and a cloverleaf ramp at Bagrana offering direct entry,” an NHAI said.

Gadkari said it would facilitate tourism by boosting access to Jaipur’s renowned attractions, and promote regional economic development. “It will lower logistics costs, reduce vehicular wear and tear, and create new markets for local farmers, particularly fruit and vegetable producers, by opening seamless access to Delhi’s vast consumer base,” he said.
