  • Heavy rain lashed Bathinda on Saturday. As per the Met Department, Bathinda city recorded 33 mm, Rampura 19 mm, Talwandi Sabo 12.6 mm and Maur recorded 83 mm rain
  • Many roads in the city were waterlogged, exposing lack of preparedness on the part of the Municipal Corporation
  • Areas such as Partap Nagar, Goniana Road, Sirki Bazaar, Civil Lines, Bharat Nagar, Bibi Wala Road, areas adjoining Bathinda-Barnala highway, Patel Nagar and New Kamla Nehru colony were waterlogged
