Heavy rain lashed Bathinda on Saturday. As per the Met Department, Bathinda city recorded 33 mm, Rampura 19 mm, Talwandi Sabo 12.6 mm and Maur recorded 83 mm rain
Many roads in the city were waterlogged, exposing lack of preparedness on the part of the Municipal Corporation
Areas such as Partap Nagar, Goniana Road, Sirki Bazaar, Civil Lines, Bharat Nagar, Bibi Wala Road, areas adjoining Bathinda-Barnala highway, Patel Nagar and New Kamla Nehru colony were waterlogged
