BFC students excel in BSc (Hons) exams

Students of BSc (Hons) Biotechnology (2nd semester) of Baba Farid College (BFC) have bagged top positions in the recently conducted Punjabi University exams.
Students scored more than 8 SGPA marks. As per the results, biotechnology students Manik Grover topped the merit list of the college by securing 9.2 SGPA marks. Hardik Garg scored 9 SGPA marks and bagged the second position while Simran Sharma secured 8.9 SGPA marks to bag the third position in the college. Besides, Gaganpreet Kaur bagged the fourth position in the college by securing 8.8 SGPA marks while Sangam secured 8.7 SGPA marks to bag the fifth position in the college.
Dr Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, BFGI, congratulated the students on their achievement and said, “It’s an honour for BFGI that students are scoring so well in their university exams. Our students have done us proud with their extraordinary results. Our primary objective is to make all the students employable and capable enough to deal with industry challenges. Their exceptional results are the outcome of special efforts made by the faculty of science.”
