BFC students shine in exams
Bathinda: MCom students (Semester II) of Baba Farid College (BFC) brought laurels by scoring well in the examinations recently Punjabi University, Patiala. Neerja Goyal and Sanjana bagged first position in the college with 91.3 per cent marks, Naman Watts and Pavita Rani got second position with 89.1 per cent marks while Rajveer Kaur with 84.8 per cent marks secured third position. Two students scored more than 90 per cent marks and eight students got more than 80 per cent marks in the examinations. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman, Baba Farid Group of Institutions, said: “The students have made us proud with their success. Our primary objective is to make all students employable and capable enough to deal with the future challenges. For this, we have been taking several initiatives such as organising industry-academia collaboration programmes, live projects, industrial visits and lectures by industry experts.” TNS
