Students and faculty of Mount Litera Zee School (MLZS) celebrated annual function, ‘Vistas’, with great zeal and enthusiasm here on Friday. Balwant Rai Nath, Mayor of Bathinda city, presided over the event as chief guest. The function commenced with lighting of ceremonial lamp followed by band performance and ‘Tridevi Vandana’.
Students of Class III to X presented mesmerising cultural performances including a series of thematic performances, patriotic dance, skating, hip-hop dance, Bharatnatyam, Kalaripayattu and bhangra among others. Students of Class VII and VIII presented garbha and ghoomar of Gujarat and Rajasthan respectively. In the end, a vote of thanks was rendered by Mary Antony Singh, Principal of the school, to the chief guest, dignitaries and parents.
She also presented student of the year, best teacher and best admin award 2019-20 and appreciated enthralling performances by students and thanked MLZS team for their contribution. The celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging students to establish milestones in their journey to success.
