Farmer from Punjab’s Bathinda dies at Khanauri border
Bathinda, February 23
A farmer who was protesting at the Khanauri border died on Thursday night.
Darshan Singh, 62, was a resident of Amargarh village in Bathinda district.
The reason behind the death will be ascertained after the post-mortem.
According to information, Darshan fell unconscious at around 11 pm on Thursday.
After his health deteriorated, Darshan was given treatment at Community Health Centre at Parray and later shifted to Government Rajindra Hospital in Patiala, where he was declared dead.
The farmer leaves behind wife, a son and a daughter. His son got married only 15 days ago.
