1st CNG station at Behman Diwana village

Hindustan Petroleum on Saturday commissioned its first CNG station in the Malwa region at M/s Bathinda HP Fuels in Behman Diwana village here on the Malout road.
The CNG facility was inaugurated by MC Commissioner Bikramjeet Singh Shergill. He also refilled the tank of a car with CNG.
Rakesh Kumar, area sales manager, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, said the company had initiated a process to set up more CNG stations in the city.
CNG is a green fuel and is less pollutant and cheaper than petrol and diesel. The CNG price in Bathinda is Rs57.50, which is approximately Rs10 less than the diesel price, he added. CNG vehicles give up to 20 per cent more mileage.
HPCL officials Kuldeep Singh Takhi, Vinay Kumar Singh, Ritesh Kumar and Shri Pawan Rana were present on the occasion.
