Even as the government has ordered restrictions on gatherings in view of the pandemic, several employee and farmer unions continue to flout the norms.

Workers from various government departments, under the banner of Theka Mulazam Sangharsh Morcha, on Thursday staged a demonstration and blocked the Bathinda-Mansa highway in front of the Administrative Complex over their demands.
