An order released by varsity Vice-Chancellor Prof Raghavendra P Tiwari states that the executive council at its meeting on March 19 and 20 resolved that in the best interest of the university and to maintain discipline among employees, a show-cause notice be served on KPS Mundra to explain his position.

The executive council has authorised the VC to take necessary action in response to the show-cause notice.

The report of a preliminary inquiry has concluded that Mundra prima facie committed misconduct and insubordination.

Registrar KPS Mundra has denied the charges of misconduct. He claimed that a person had filed two affidavits alleging corruption and the VC did not took any action, but when he took action, the VC overturned that and they were now levelling allegations against him.
