Robotic machine for eye patients

“With robotic component, instead of traditional technologies in place for performing eye procedures, surgeries has become seamless, predictable and safer than before and is approved by the best ophthalmic medical bodies from the US to South Korea,” said Dr Kashish Gupta, Head of Department of Ophthalmology, and lead robotic eye surgeon at Max Hospital in city.
Dr Kashish said: “To provide quality patient care to the people of Malwa region, we have introduced a state-of-the-art robotic machine, Femto Z8 LDV, in the hospital. It has the best safety profile because of low pulse laser that dramatically minimises any side effect or potential damage to a patient’s eye.”
