Bathinda, February 5
A group discussion and seminar was organised by SSD Women’s Institute of Technology, Bathinda, for the students of computer and management department. The topic for group discussion was “why the immigration cases keep rising even when most countries are adopting detention policies”.
The topics for the seminar were cashless economy, coronavirus, implications of CAA, ISRO projects are beneficial for the growth of country or wastage of money, youth expectations from budget 2020. Students participated with enthusiasm and zeal. In seminar competition, 1st prize was won by Puneet BBA-II, 2nd prize was given to Harvinder BCA-I and the 3rd prize was won jointly by Muskan and Vimsh (BBA-I).
In group discussion, Muskan BBA-II was initiator, Bhavika BBA-II and Manjot BCA-I were facilitator, Puneet BBA-II was leader and concluder was Bhumika BBA-II and Madhu MCA-I. Prizes to winners were given by Parminder Kaur Tanghi, principal, SSD Girls’ College and Dr Neeru Garg, Principal, SSDWIT.
