Two students of the Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) got selected as project engineers with an annual package of Rs3.5 lakh in Wipro Ltd, an IT company, during a recruitment drive held in the campus recently.

The drive was arranged by the Training and Placement Department of the BFGI. The recruitment process of Wipro Ltd included an online test and a written communication test, followed by a technical round and HR interview round to check the communication and technical expertise of students. Following these rounds, two students of BTech (computer science), Arzoo Goyal and Jatinderpal Singh, were selected.

Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman of the BFGI, congratulated the students. He said the main aim of the BFGI was to train students according to requirements of the industry.
