Bathinda, December 27

A vendor development programme for SC/ST and women-owned Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) was organised by the National Fertilisers Limited (NFL), Bathinda, in city, wherein 30 entrepreneurs participated. The event was organised in collaboration with the National SC and ST Hub – NSIC Ludhiana, Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) and the Punjab State United Association.

The programme was inaugurated by Atul Kumar Jain, chief general manager of the NFL, Bathinda, highlighted that the contribution of MSEs to country’s GDP and employment and steps taken by the Union Government to further increase their role. He also assured the participants that the NFL would extend them all possible help.

NFL Bathinda LVOC organises Picnic Trip

Lake View Officer’s Club, NFL, Bathinda, arranged a one-day picnic trip to Jyani Natural Farm and the Fazilka border for all club members and their family members recently. Around 80 members and their families were part of the tour.

Atul Kumar Jain, president of Lake View Officer’s Club, flagged-off the trip.

During the trip, members were apprised of organic farming, natural products and village culture. They were also served food prepared from organic vegetables. In the evening, all the members witnessed the Retreat ceremony at Fazilka border.
