Blood donation camp marks martyr Sukhdev’s birth anniversary
The birth anniversary of Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar was celebrated here on Thursday by the Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar Memorial Trust.
A hawan was organised and a medical camp, including a blood donation camp, was organised to mark the occasion.
The event was organised at his birth place Naughara Mohalla, Ludhiana. School and college students and people from all walks of life came to pay homage to the martyr.
President of the Trust, Ashok Thapar, said, “It is a national-level event in which students of various schools participated in patriotic programmes.”
“The initiative is a tribute to our national hero to inspire young minds to continue their legacy through acts of kindness and community service. We remain committed to fostering social responsibility among people around us,” said Thapar.
