Yuzvendra Chahal breaks silence on RJ Mahvash dating rumours on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’

Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has finally addressed rumours linking him to radio jockey and influencer RJ Mahvash during a recent episode of “The Great Indian Kapil Show” on Netflix.

While the two have consistently maintained that they are ‘just friends,’ their frequent public appearances and social media interactions have fuelled the ongoing speculation.

The cricketer appeared alongside Rishabh Pant, Gautam Gambhir and Abhishek Sharma.

When comedian Kapil Sharma asked about the mystery girl, Chahal said, “India jaan chukka hai (India already knows).”

Pant added with a smile, “Free hai na ab thode se yeh,” referring to his divorce from choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma, which was finalised on March 20, 2025.

During the episode, Krushna Abhishek dressed as a woman, sat next to Chahal and called him “Juicy Chahal”, and joked with Kapil, “Bahut juicy hai (He’s very juicy).”

He even teased Chahal about his Instagram posts with RJ Mahvash, saying, “Darrte toh nahi zyada (You don’t seem too scared),” hinting at their closeness online.

Kiku Sharda added more spice to the segment by pretending to find a lipstick mark on Chahal’s white shirt. He asked, “Yeh kya chal raha hai? Poora India jaanna chahta hai? (What is going on? The whole country wants to know),” to which Chahal responded again, “India jaan chukka hai.”

The Mahvash connection

Chahal and Mahvash have been linked since last year. Fans have spotted them together at events, dinners and vacations. Mahvash was seen cheering for Chahal during several IPL matches, even during his injury break. They also appeared together in a recent advertisement.
