Dream & Beauty Charitable Trust celebrated its 25th anniversary in service to humanity at it headquarter at Heavenly Palace in Doraha, Punjab, India. The largest charitable trust of its kind in North India hosted spiritual leaders, social reformers, senior citizens, destitute and orphan children. The Heavenly Palace demonstrated that borders and divisions dissolve as people from across religions participated and benefited from its services. People from diverse social strata and backgrounds celebrated the vision and mission of the DBC Trust which has dedicated itself to the serving of the neediest since its inception in 1996. Diverse cultural programs from senior citizens and orphan children were presented. Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Tourism and Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India, while addressing the event, congratulated the Chairman of DBC Trust, Shri Anil Monga and his team, for 25 years of dedicated service towards humanity, serving the neediest people in our country. Dream and Beauty Charitable Trust is doing commendable job by providing medical services and free medicine in slum areas. They serve 7000 nutrient meals every day from last 25 years.

Naik further added that the youth from slums and dysfunctional families are trained and jobs are facilitated by the teams of DBC Trust. He said the Trust takes utmost care, with best amenities, while serving its resident senior citizens. His Excellency Charrandass Persaud, High Commissioner of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, said that “I feel jealous to see all the great amenities and facilities available here to senior citizens and orphan children. We don’t have anything like this in Guyana. If we all give back to society like Shri Anil Monga, we can have the Heaven on Earth”.

Niranjani Akhara Peethadheeshwar, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar, Swami Kailashananda Giri said, “As youth from the slums and dysfunctional families get tempted towards drugs, violence, etc, Anil Monga’s work focuses its efforts on transforming the destiny of these young children to shape them into adults with limitless possibilities for our Nation”. Girl children are trained and later put to work in a well-paying job, so that they secure the livelihood of their families and liberate not only them, but also ensure that their future generations will not be uneducated, thus diminishing their cycle of poverty. Addressing the event Mahamandaleshwar Swami Advaitananda Giri, Chairman of International Meditation Foundation said that if we all participate in the wider objective of lending a helping hand to those in need, we will very soon see a massive shift in the world we live in. It not only changes the life of those in need but also the life of the person who supports them. Anil Monga’s selfless work at DBC Trust is an inspiration for everyone, to be mindful of the impact that even a simple effort such as feeding or housing a needful soul can have. Dedicating himself to North India’s largest charitable organization, while residing in USA is extremely commendable. Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa bharti, said the youth of India is the future of the nation, yet many gifted souls are left struggling to survive because their families are unable to support them. DBC Trust’s orphanage creates an intimate family environment where the resident senior citizen treat them like their grandchildren that has established a healthy lifestyle that compliments each other and inspires these children towards success.

Nonagenarian Padam Bhusan, Dr Sardara Singh Johl, Chancellor Central University, thanked Anil Monga for donating money and creating ‘Heavenly Palace’ to let senior citizens celebrate old age with pride and dignity. Senior citizens are provided 5 star facilities, including lush green and serene setting, nutritious meals, entertainment, yoga, meditation and golf activities.
