Give your relationship a new meaning as serial entrepreneur Ankit Nayal is all set to welcome his novel startup - ‘Sparks - The Relationships App’

In recent times, the struggle to find a perfect relationship has become rusty for everyone. Unfortunately, the prolonged phase of lockdown followed by social distancing made it difficult for people to find their ideal match. However, dating apps have played the cupid in uniting many people across the globe. Going a step further, entrepreneur Ankit Nayal and his team (Ankit Seth, Amitej Kalra, Akriti Nayal and Pablo Rojas Vidal) have come up with a one-of-a-kind app named Sparks - The Relationships App that strengthens the bond of existing relationships.

This startup has a unique concept, and Ankit is quite overwhelmed to launch Sparks soon. The app not only caters to couples but also between friends and family. While this app is distinguished from other dating apps, there’s an interesting trivia behind how Sparks came into existence. Ankit Nayal, in early 2021, spent his time on dating apps to find a suitable match. He eventually found a partner offline but realized that there was nothing in the market to help them with date decision making. There was an app to get people into a relationship, but nothing to help them improve the relationship.

Therefore, to make decisions simpler in existing relationships, Sparks was conceptualized. Through this app, one can uncomplicate decisions related to things to do with their partner, friends and family. Speaking about this app and its USP, Ankit Nayal said, “Our goal is to enrich existing relationships and help people connect with their loved ones better. In today’s time, it is easier to begin a relationship, but the challenge is to maintain the relationship for years. That’s what we tend to focus on.”

Sparks uses a Tinder-like swiping algorithm, but instead of matching people with people or couples with couples, it matches them with experiences (or things to do together). “In this way, we shall help users maximize the quality of time they spend with their near and dear ones. No more haggling about what to watch, where to eat or what to do. Let Sparks take care of that”, Ankit added. The team at Sparks believes that they can contribute value to relationships and help them last for longer.

The app is created with the use of AI and innovative trends where users will be offered to pick the best experiences – movies, recipes, restaurants, bars, games, vacations and so on. As the primary focus lies on simplicity, Sparks makes it easy for people to nourish their relationships. The app will soon be available on both Android and iOS devices.

Professionally, Ankit Nayal is a learning-techie & serial entrepreneur who wants to connect the world with the advancement of the internet and technology. He holds an MBA degree from IESE Business School and has managed operations in different verticals across India, Europe and China. He is also an ex-bodybuilder and believes fitness is the key to success.
