Media Tribe, Founded by Sunil Gupta and Rima Mishra, has come a long way from where they first began by making their presence felt in this digital marketing industry. It all has to do with the customers they get and the audience they target.
“Customers generally tend to hide the ads that pop up on their screen or scroll past them and look at those they are interested in. But as a digital marketer you have ad strategies, branded content, and influencer marketing to help capture your audience's attention so that the audience notices the difference.” as said by Sunil Gupta.
“The first thing you need to know about influencer marketing is that our target audience are those that need to be influenced. They are not the influencers. Keeping this in mind you need to create your strategy for influencer marketing. The factors that need to be taken into account when choosing your influencer is what type of content are they inclined towards, their reach numbers and, most of all, how their audience reacts to their way of life.” as mentioned by Rima Mishra.
Influencers generate a variety of content that creates a certain kind of value to what they believe in such as education, entertainment, inspiring content and fashion, for free. But you cannot demand the influencer to be authentic just for you as they have their own set of content and values they believe in and as a digital marketer you need to respect that.
The kind of trust that is established between the influencer and the customers should not be disrespected or falsified. You not only lose your customer but you could be responsible for destroying an influencer's credibility.
It helps for the future of your brand to listen to the customers, and find that influencer who is able to work with your brand and style so that they can create the content that isn't out of line with your product or service.
