Align utility with changes in economy: Shah to industry

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Friday called upon industry and agriculture chambers of the country to introspect on their operations and enhance their utility in alignment with the changes in the country’s economy.

Addressing a gathering on the occasion of inaugurating the newly constructed headquarters of Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Mumbai, Shah said that conflicts like the ones going on between Iran and Israel and Russia and Ukraine directly impact Indian economy, therefore industry chambers should engage professional institutions to review and enhance their working methods in tandem with the nation’s economy, policy making process, state legislatures, Parliament as well as the global economy.
