BPCL pays Rs6,665-crore dividend to govt in FY21

New Delhi: The government has received a final dividend of Rs 6,665 crore from privatisation-bound Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd for the 2020-21 fiscal, DIPAM Secretary said on Wednesday. This includes special dividend on account of gains especially on sale of BPCL’s stake in Numaligarh Refinery in March 2021, DIPAM Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey tweeted. PTI

Titan Company logs nearly four-fold jump in Q2 profit

Tata Group firm Titan Company on Wednesday reported nearly four-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 641 crore for September quarter on the back of strong demand recovery across its consumer businesses. Total income in the quarter stood at Rs 7,548 crore as against Rs 4,601 crore in the year-ago period, it added. PTI
