NANNING, China, Aug. 27, 2025 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/-- Located in southern China, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with abundant sunshine and rainfall, is a natural "kingdom of sugarcane". During the 2024/2025 crushing season, the planting area of sugarcane in the region reached 11.35 million mu (approximately 756,667 hectares), an increase of 110,000 mu year-on-year.
