New Delhi: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on Thursday lowered interest rate on PF deposits to a seven-year low of 8.5% for the current fiscal. The rate was 8.65% for 2018-19. The EPFO board also ratified restoration of normal pension after 15 years from the date of communication, benefiting 6.3 lakh pensioners who had opted for commutation. TNS
