FIIB Hosts ‘Say It With Pride: Changing Workspaces, Changing Minds’ to Champion Inclusive Leadership
New Delhi, September 12, 2025: Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB) hosted a landmark workshop, “Say It With Pride: Changing Workspaces, Changing Minds,” in collaboration with the NAZ Foundation and Girl Up India. The event brought together changemakers, industry professionals, faculty, and students to engage in meaningful conversations on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Opening the session, Mansi, Co-Head of the Girl Up Club at FIIB, and Anushka, Vice President of Student Life, set the tone by highlighting FIIB’s commitment to nurturing leaders who think beyond profit — placing equal emphasis on people and the planet.
Key Highlights of the Event • Workshop with NAZ - The workshop was led by Mr. Sahil Choudhary, NAZ Foundation, who facilitated powerful discussions on allyship, empathy, and inclusive practices. NAZ, a pioneering NGO in sexual health and LGBTQ+ rights, is recognized for its historic role in the battle against Section 377.
• Panel Discussion: Stories of resilience and authenticity were shared by: • Ashish Chopra, Recruiter at Google & Co-founder of BeUnic – on breaking stereotypes and advocating for LGBTQ+ visibility.
• Saad Alam Khan, Senior Manager at VIVA Social Communications – on blending advocacy with professional leadership.
• Sonali Dutta, Founder of Youmanize – on reimagining workplace culture with empathy.
• Ms. Pratishtha, Associate at Girl Up India – on the power of representation and authentic voices.
Moderated by Prof. Snigdha Malhotra, FIIB faculty and DEI advocate, the panel explored actionable strategies for building inclusive organizations. The event featured opening remarks by Prof. Kokil Jain, Dean – Research & Outreach at FIIB, and a special address by Ms. Aditi Arora, Country Head – UN Girl Up India, who emphasized youth-led advocacy for gender equality.
Through initiatives like this, FIIB continues to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure).
