New Delhi, November 23

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today assured the industry that momentum of economic reforms will continue to attract investment.

At a CII webinar, citing the opening up of space, defence and nuclear segments, she reiterated the government’s commitment to creating new opportunities for the private sector, including MNCs.

Interacting with India chiefs of MNCs, Sitharaman sought to allay impressions about the Atmanirbhar Bharat slogan.

Atmanirbhar Bharat, she emphasised, is not meant to exclude India from the globe. “It is about strengthening systems,” she said.
