MUMBAI, India, May 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Godrej Properties hosted the second edition of the CREW Conclave 2025, marking a year since the launch of CREW (Collective of Real Estate Women), a national initiative to enable, engage, and empower women in the real estate sector.

The event opened with a keynote address by Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties, where he reflected on how inclusion must be embedded in daily practice, not just discussed in closed boardrooms. He reiterated the company's commitment to building systems that support the whole self, backed by meaningful policies and real action.

Following the keynote, the first panel discussion held under the theme 'Echoes of the Firsts', the conclave celebrated milestone achievements by women who have defined new beginnings in their respective domains, and was a reminder that progress begins with presence and courage. The discussion featured powerful conversations with trailblazers like Captain Radhika Menon, India's first woman Merchant Navy Captain, Joyita Mondal, India's first transgender judge and Kalki Subramaniam, trans rights activist, multimedia artist, and India's first transwoman lead in cinema and Bhavika Govil, debut author and creative writing educator.

The second panel, 'Decoding Care | The Godrej Story', featured Sumit Mitra, Head Group HR & Corporate Services, Godrej Industries Group; Parmesh Shahani, Head, Godrej DEI Lab, and Megha Goel, CHRO, Godrej Properties. The discussions explored inclusive policy evolution at Godrej and how care and empathy drive structural change.

The day concluded with cross-functional roundtable discussions, generating actionable insights to be captured in a sector-first whitepaper on gender equity in real estate.

With over 1,200 members and growing, CREW continues to build a national movement rooted in community, learning, and the belief that women don't just belong in real estate, they lead it.

"This year's Conclave marked two major milestones for us. First, we launched a capability development program for women at Godrej Properties under our in-house learning academy, Alchemy. Our vision is not just to nurture talent within GPL, but to extend Alchemy's learning opportunities to the larger real estate sector and give CREW members access to curated growth programs. Second, to enable a thriving community beyond physical spaces, we unveiled the CREW Community Website and Social Network—India's first digital platform where women from real estate and allied sectors can connect, collaborate, and grow their networks from anywhere in the country."- Megha Goel, CHRO, Godrej Properties Limited.
