The government, in collaboration with leading banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), had established a working group to enhance credit flow to the infrastructure sector, sources revealed on Thursday.

The initiative aims to address financing challenges and bolster economic growth through increased infrastructure investments. The panel includes representatives from department of financial services, various banks and finance corporations, sources said, adding that the decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Department of Financial Services Secretary M. Nagaraju.
