382 firms offer 7,403 jobs at VIT campuses

Vellore Institute of Technology’s (VIT) placements are common for all of its campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal. Despite the pandemic, 7,403 job offers were rolled out by 382 companies through virtual campus recruitments across VIT campuses in the country this year. As many as 4,503 students have received multiple offers. The results were announced by G Viswanathan, founder and chancellor of VIT.

BHEL extends support to MSMEs in manufacturing

HUDCO inks agreement with MoHUA for setting key targets

Study on smartphones and their impact on relationship

Smartphone maker vivo has announced the findings of the second edition of the study titled ‘Smartphones and their impact on human relationships 2020’. It revealed that 66% of Indians believe their smartphone improves their quality of life. A shocking 70% feel if their smartphone usage continues to increase, it is likely to impact their mental/physical health. Additionally, 74% respondents said periodically switching off their mobile phone can help them spend more time with family.
