Mumbai, 4th September 2025 – The Government of India has formally approved the issuance of a Commemorative Postal Stamp by the Ministry of Communications and a Commemorative Quaternary Coin by the Ministry of Finance in honour of Acharya Shri Jawaharlal Ji Maharaj, a revered saint, reformer, and national figure. The release, scheduled during his 150th Birth Anniversary year, marks a moment of profound cultural and historical significance for the nation.

This landmark initiative, pursued for the last two decades, has been spearheaded by the Siddharth Bothra , Trustee , Jaskaran Bothra Foundation, a nationally active social and cultural organization based in Mumbai. The efforts have borne fruit with the Gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on 1st September 2025 for the commemorative coin.

Honouring Acharya Ji with a commemorative stamp and coin is a recognition of his immense contributions to India’s freedom, social reforms, and nation-building.” National Release Ceremony Planned To honour Acharya Ji’s unparalleled contributions, the Jaskaran Bothra Foundation has extended an invitation to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to preside over the national-level release ceremony. The event will bring together saints, monks, spiritual leaders, eminent dignitaries, and followers from across the country, creating a historic occasion of unity and reverence. Acharya Shri Jawaharlal Ji Maharaj – An Enduring Legacy of Nation-Building • Advisor to National Leaders: Great personalities including Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Morarji Desai visited him regularly and sought his guidance on matters of national importance, inspired by his wisdom and moral authority.
