New Delhi, October 14

IT bellwether Infosys on Wednesday reported a 20.5% growth in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 30. It posted a net profit of Rs 4,845 crore in the period under review as against Rs 4,019 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

The IT major also revised its annual revenue growth forecast between 2% and 3% from an earlier projection of 0% to 2%.

The company also said it will roll out salary hikes and promotions across all levels with effect from January 1.

“Our second quarter performance is a clear reflection of our ability to help clients on their digital transformation journeys,” said Salil Parekh, CEO and managing director, Infosys. — Agencies
