PFC signs MoU on targets with Ministry of Power
Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC) has signed a performance-based MoU with Ministry of Power, Government of India, detailing various targets to be achieved by it during FY 2020-21. The MoU was signed by Sanjiv Nandan Sahai, Secretary (Power), Government of India, and RS Dhillon, CMD, PFC, in the presence of senior officials.
BYJU’s selects 11 students of Apeejay Institute of Management
As many as 11 students of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Jalandhar, have been hired by BYJU’s at a package of Rs 10 lakh per annum. The students were selected for their managerial and communication skills. Those who were selected include Kashish Jain, Sudhi Malpotra, Aman Chawla, Priyanka, Madhav, Nikhil Vasudeva, Raghav, Shubham, Smiley, Varun and Yashpreet.
Mahindra & Mahindra sells 43,386 tractors in September
Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, a part of the $19.4-billion Mahindra Group, has announced that it sold 42,361 tractors in September as against 36,046 units in September 2019. Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) during September were 43,386 units as against 37,011 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 1,025 units.
Sonalika Tractors records highest-ever sales in H1
Sonalika Tractors has broken all its previous monthly sales records and outperformed the industry’s sales in September. “The company registered its highest-ever overall sales of 17,704 units in September. Collectively, it has achieved its highest-ever half-yearly sales of 63,561 tractors and 26,530 implements,” said Raman Mittal, executive director, Sonalika Group
