Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a banned Khalistani organisation, has issued a threat to “siege” India’s consulate in Vancouver on Wednesday.

A notice circulated says pro-Khalistan supporters will mount a 12-hour demonstration. The SFJ tied its threat to claims made by ex-PM Justin Trudeau, who said Indian agents were involved in the killing of Khalistani separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
