M&M Q2 profit jumps eight-fold to Rs1,432 cr



New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Tuesday reported an over eight-fold increase in its standalone profit after tax to Rs 1,432 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, riding on the back of robust sales albeit semiconductor shortage affecting vehicle production. Revenue rose 15% to Rs 13,305 crore as against Rs 11,590 crore in the year-ago period. PTI

BHEL loss narrows to Rs46 cr in Sept quarter

State-owned engineering firm BHEL on Tuesday reported narrowing of consolidated net loss to Rs 46.58 crore for September quarter 2021-22. It incurred a net loss of Rs 552.38 crore in the year-ago period, a BSE filing stated. Total income rose to Rs 5,197.25 crore in the quarter from Rs 3,793.13 crore in the same period a year ago. PTI
