Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with CEOs of various companies at his official residence on Monday, said an official statement.

This was the PM’s second such interaction with industry representatives in the run-up to the Union Budget.

The PM asked them to make full use of policies like PLI incentives and wanted the corporate sector to invest more in areas like agriculture and food processing.

Industry leaders like TV Narendran (Tata Steel), Sanjeev Puri (ITC), Uday Kotak (Kotak Bank), Seshagiri Rao (JSW Steel), Vineet Mittal (Avaada Energy), Sumant Sinha (ReNew Power), Preetha Reddy (Apollo Hospitals) and Ritesh Agarwal (OYO) were present. — TNS
