Modi to address Ficci AGM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with a number of Cabinet Ministers and Secretaries to the Government of India will address Ficci’s annual general meeting (AGM) on December 12.
Among overseas industry leaders expected to address the three-day virtual AGM from December 11 are Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Alphabet ex-chairman Eric Schmidt, Peter Diamandis, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority CEO Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and National Health Services England Chair Lord David Prior. The meet is expected to be attended by over 10,000 delegates.
Uday Shankar to be new Ficci prez
Media executive Uday Shankar has been named as the president-elect of industry chamber Ficci for the year 2020-21. He is currently president of The Walt Disney Company for Asia Pacific and the chairman of Star and Disney India.
