Punjab minister OP Soni visits Ricela Health Foods, Sangrur

Punjab Cabinet minister OP Soni recently visited Dhuri-based Ricela Health Foods Ltd. He was accompanied by Ghanshyam Thori, Deputy Commissioner, Sangrur, and Dr Sandeep Garg, SSP, Sangrur, among others. Dr AR Sharma, chairman, Ricela Group, briefed the minister about the manufacturing process of refined rice bran oil and newly launched Gamma Oryzanol – a cholesterol-lowering nutraceutical. He informed that refined rice bran oil being produced by their company was being exported to over 30 countries across the globe.

Dr Anil Aggarwal honoured on R-Day in Yamunanagar

Dr Anil Aggarwal, a renowned surgeon and social worker of Yamunanagar, was honoured on the Republic Day by the district administration for providing free treatment and surgical operations to poor patients. He has performed hundreds of surgeries free of cost. Dr Aggarwal, who has been president of the IMA for three terms, has been previously honoured by Governors of Haryana 12 times.

Powergrid Q3 net profit rises 15% to Rs2,673 cr

Powergrid has posted a profit after tax of Rs2,673 crore and total income of Rs9,497 crore for the third quarter (Oct-Dec, 2019) on a standalone basis. On a consolidated basis, it has posted profit after tax and total income of Rs2,672 crore and ?9,541 crore, respectively, for the third quarter (Oct-Dec 2019), registering an increase of 14% & 7%, respectively, with respect to corresponding period of FY19.

Ratnakar Mishra takes charge of NFL, Panipat

Ratnakar Mishra, general manager, has taken charge as unit head of NFL, Panipat. An engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology, Surat, Mishra started his career with NFL, Nangal in 1988. He played an instrumental role in successful commissioning of Nangal Modernisation Phase-1 and Ammonia Feedstock Changeover Project at Nangal.
