Royal Estate Group launches affordable housing scheme

After the huge success of first affordable housing township, Royale Estate Group has launched a dedicated scheme for residential and commercial properties in Phase 2. The scheme will remain open till January 21. The draw will be held on January 26. The scheme, dedicated to the women’s empowerment programmme of Royale Estate Group, is marked by a 100% waiver on external development and registration charges for women applicants. The site is located on NH-64, near International Airport, Mohali.

NBCC receives IBC Award for Excellence in Built Environment

Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs recently gave away IBC Awards for Excellence in Built Environment 2017-19 to NBCC (India) Ltd. PK Gupta, CMD, NBCC, received the award at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The award was bestowed on NBCC for the execution of the iconic project – Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.

Oriental Bank of Commerce cuts MCLR by up to 15 bps

Oriental Bank of Commerce has decreased its Marginal Cost of Funds-based Lending Rate (MCLR) by up to 15 bps across various tenors. The new rates are applicable with effect from January 10 till next review by the bank.

Renault clocks volume growth of 8% in 2019

Renault India has ended calendar year 2019 by selling 88,869 units, thereby registering about 8% increase in volume compared with 2018. In the first three quarters of 2019, the company sold 19,193 units, 17,605 units and 17,705 respectively. The last quarter saw a huge jump of 34,362 units, which was 67.92% more than that of corresponding year-ago period sales.

Sonalika records 20.7% overall volume growth

Sonalika Tractors has recorded overall market share of 14.7% and volume growth of 20.7% by selling 7,320 units in December last year. The company also recorded robust exports growth of 132.5% by exporting 2,358 units and achieving 32% market share in December. “We will continue to remain focused on our vision of leading agri evolution and outperform industry growth,” said Raman Mittal, executive director, Sonalika Group.


SBI Mutual Fund’s AUM up 24% in current fiscal

Ashwani Bhatia, MD & CEO, SBI Mutual Fund, recently addressed senior officials of SBI at its Local Head Office, Chandigarh, in the presence of Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, CGM, SBI, Chandigarh Circle. He said the growth trajectory of the industry would continue in 2020 as well. He said in terms of assets under management (AUM), the company had grown by 24% so far in the current financial year compared to the last fiscal.


HDFC Bank unveils toll-free number for farmers

HDFC Bank has launched ‘#HarGaonHamara’ Interactive Voice Response (IVR) toll-free number (1800 120 9655) for farmers and agriculturists in the rural hinterland of the country to access financial services. “The aim is to take banking to the doorstep of every Indian farmer and agriculturists,” said RajinderBabbar, Business Head —Rural Banking Group, HDFC Bank.


HDFC Bank rolls out customised mobile apps for institutions

HDFC Bank has launched myApps, a suite of white-label apps that will enable urban local bodies, including smart cities and municipalities, housing societies, clubs or gymkhanas and even religious institutions to completely digitise their ecosystem. In an industry-first initiative, the bank will offer a customised app as a value-added service in addition to its complete suite of banking products.

Shriram Transport to raise up to Rs1,000 cr via NCDs

Shriram Transport Finance Company Limited proposes to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore by issuing secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) of the face value of Rs 1,000 each. The company is coming out with its Tranche 2 Issue of NCDs having a base size of Rs 200 crore with an option to retain oversubscription aggregating up to Rs 1,000 crore which is within the shelf limit.
