SCOPE signs pact with ILO for study on women empowerment
Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) — an apex body of public sector enterprises (PSEs) — and International Labour Organisation (ILO) have signed an understanding for a joint study on “Women Empowerment — Adoption of Work from Home Model”. Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE, and Ms Dagamer Walter, Director, ILO Decent Work Team for South Asia and Country Office for India, signed the understanding virtually.
Govt integrates electronic PPO with DigiLocker
Under the leadership of Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), a team headed by Dr Kshatrapati Shivaji, Secretary, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), has successfully integrated the electronic Pension Payment Order (e-PPO) generated through PFMS (Public Financial Management System) with DigiLocker to enhance ease of living of Central government civil pensioners.

Insecticides (India) launches ‘Dominant’ for paddy, cotton
Insecticides (India) Ltd. (IIL) has launched ‘Dominant’ — a new systemic, third-generation neonicotinoid group of insecticides, to control brown plant hopper in paddy and sucking pests in cotton.
