Sharada Narayanan wins “Mrs. Classique Globe – Choice of the People” Award 2025 in Palm Springs, California
Bangalore, India - Indian fashion entrepreneur and philanthropist Sharada Narayanan won the prestigious Mrs. Classique Globe® Choice of the People Award 2025, following a global public vote during the international Mrs. Classique Globe® pageant, held on June 21 at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa in Palm Springs, California.
The Choice of the People Award, determined through a global public vote, recognizes the delegate whose presence, story, and mission most deeply resonate with audiences around the world. Sharada’s grace, authenticity, and clarity of purpose made her a natural favourite.
“This crown is not just an ornament—it’s a symbol of perseverance, purpose, and the power of owning your journey,” said Sharada Narayanan who is the first one from India to win this title. “It’s proof that even when life takes unexpected turns, staying rooted in your values and dreams will always lead you forward.” A former corporate professional, armed forces spouse, mother of two, and founder of purpose-driven brands, Sharada has long championed causes cantered on women’s wellness, leadership, and empowerment.
Among a distinguished group of international delegates, Sharada also took home the Family Values Award during the preliminary rounds—a recognition of her deep-rooted commitment to balancing purpose with personal integrity, and her powerful narrative of family, resilience, and responsibility.
Sharada quoted that “Being recognized for family values meant the world to her”. “At the heart of everything I do—whether as a mother, entrepreneur, or mentor—is a desire to create a legacy of strength, compassion, and integrity. This award celebrates that foundation.” The global pageant brought together delegates from over 30 countries, all representing years of life experience, resilience, and service. Sharada stood out for her elegance, commitment to impact, and ability to connect with audiences across cultures.
“To have been chosen by people from all over the world—each casting a vote not just for beauty, but for belief in my mission—is incredibly humbling,” she added. “This isn't just my win, it belongs to every woman who’s dared to rise, speak, and transform. I hope my story reminds women everywhere that it's never too late to reinvent, rebuild, or rise,” Sharada said.
A city-based fashion designer and the founder of the boutique Metamorphosis, Sharada also leads Virya Trust, an NGO devoted to empowering underprivileged women through vocational training and economic development initiatives. Her dual mission – blending creativity with social impact – earned her acclaim from mentors and fans alike.
Mrs. India Globe 2017 national director Veena Jain, who mentored Sharada, applauded her achievement: “Sharada embodies the full package: poised, confident, socially engaged, and inspiring – qualities that drove people to vote for her,” she commented.
Sharada plans to continue using her platform to inspire and advocate for women's empowerment across borders. Through her personal initiatives and growing global collaborations, she aims to create more inclusive spaces for women to thrive—whether in entrepreneurship, wellness, or community leadership. Her focus remains on sparking meaningful conversations, building bridges between cultures, and encouraging women everywhere to step into their power with confidence and purpose. Her dream is of a world where beauty radiates from within and women lead unapologetically, give back meaningfully and redefine beauty with a purpose.
