Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation plans to enter the electric small car segment in future after gathering experience from its first EV, SUV eVITARA, which will make the global debut in India, its production hub for electric vehicles, company's Representative Director and president Toshihiro Suzuki said on Thursday.

Maruti Suzuki India will unveil the eVITARA on Friday at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 being held at Bharat Mandapam here. For Suzuki Motor, India will be production hub for global electric vehicle models.
