Free bus service resumes from Haibowal Beet to Chandigarh’s PGI

This bus service had to be stopped after the onset off the Covid pandemic

The Sri Guru Ram Das Samaj Sewa Sports Cultural and Welfare Society Nurpur Bedi had started a free bus service from Haibowal Beet to the PGI in Chandigarh. The society was running the service for a long time. This bus service had to be stopped after the onset off the Covid pandemic.

Today, at the meeting of the society with sarpanches and dignitaries of the area at Gurdwara Sahib in Haibowal, it was decided to resume this bus service. Giving information in this regard, Captain Paramjit Singh (retd) said, “The bus service is being re-started on the demand of residents of the Beet area. The devotees of the Beet area have also given monetary assistance of Rs 20,610 to the society.”

He said the booking for the bus seat would be done one day in advance from 9 am to 3 pm. He said, “The bus will leave for Chandigarh from Haibowal Gurdwara Sahib at 4 am from Monday to Friday. Those who want to go to the PGI should reach gurdwara by 3.50 am. Bus seat can be booked via mobile number 7528809229.”
