The Tribune Edu Expo gets massive response on Day 1

The opening day of the two-day long ‘4th The Tribune Education Expo Chandigarh-2025’, powered by Chitkara University, received an overwhelming response from tricity’s educational institutions today.

Nearly 800 students and their parents attended the event on the first day at Himachal Bhawan in Sector 28. Besides children, faculty members of various schools visited the expo to get insights into the higher educational institutes, latest courses and free guidance to choose the right stream.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains inaugurated the event. Bains congratulated the Chandigarh toppers and awarded the students with a token of appreciation.

“I congratulate The Tribune publications for conducting the event, which is meant to promote the region’s educational institutions, and for providing a platform for the students to get expert advice directly from the specialists. Much appreciation for members of the Tribune Group for conducting the event annually. I also congratulate the toppers who are being felicitated today and my best wishes to all other students who are here to take the guidance,” said Bains, who was welcomed by Amit Sharma, General Manager, The Tribune, along with other officials of the publication. Bains also interacted with the participating educational institutions.

“It’s great to be here and to get insights into the region’s leading institutions. Everything was available under one roof and interactive sessions were very helpful,” said Ridhima, a student.

“Such events are really good for the youngsters to have a clear picture of what they are aiming for. The field of education these days is pretty much vast and also demands more attention of professionals to guide the students to pick the best for their future. We have interacted with so many children today, and everyone was keen on getting deep knowledge of the subject of their interest. This clearly indicates such events encourage children to come to the expo and clear their doubts,” said a representative of the Chitkara University.

Powered by Chitkara University, the expo is witnessing participation of Amity University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri (Mohali), Graphic Era, State Bank of India, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Aryans Group of Colleges, Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab; Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology, Mohali; Chandigarh University, Hit Bullseye, Sri Sukhmani Group, NMIMS, MMU, UCO Bank, Indian Bank and Big FM.

A counselling sessions by experts will be the highlight of Day 2.
