A heated dispute over a parking space at a high-rise residential complex in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh took a violent turn when a resident allegedly bit the nose of the society’s secretary, leaving him bloodied and injured. The incident, captured on CCTV, has gone viral on social media and triggered a police investigation.

The altercation occurred at Ratan Planet Apartment in Naramau.

According to the complaint, Kshitij Mishra, a resident of the building, had taken issue with a car parked in a spot he claimed as his own. After raising the matter with a security guard, Mishra allegedly called Rupendra Singh Yadav, the society’s secretary and a retired engineer, to the parking area.

What followed was caught on security cameras: the footage shows Mishra first slapping Yadav, then grabbing him by the neck before biting his nose. Yadav is later seen stumbling away, his shirt stained with blood.

Yadav’s children rushed him to a private hospital for treatment. He later lodged a formal complaint against Mishra at Bithoor police station, prompting an ongoing investigation.
