9,622 candidates to appear for Teachers Eligibility Test in Panchkula

The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET), conducted by the Haryana School Education Board, is scheduled for July 30 and 31. In Panchkula district, a total of 9,622 candidates will appear for the examination across 16 designated centres.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Monika Gupta today chaired a preparatory review meeting with officials at the Mini Secretariat. She emphasised the need for peaceful and transparent conduct of the examination, warning that no negligence would be tolerated by any staff deployed on duty.

As per the schedule, the PGT exam will be held in the evening shift on July 30. On July 31, the TGT exam is set for the morning shift, while the PRT exam will take place in the evening. The DC confirmed that all shifts will accommodate 9,622 candidates in total.

To ensure a fair examination environment, strict security arrangements are being implemented by the police department. Candidates will undergo intensive checking before entering the exam centres. All examination halls have been equipped with CCTV cameras, which will be monitored in real time by the Haryana School Education Board’s control room.
