Rs 3.30 cr released to upgrade village PHC

Lok Sabha MP Dr Raj Kumar and Chabbewal MLA Dr Ishank Kumar released a grant of Rs 3 crore 30 lakh to upgrade the Primary Health Centre (PHC) of village Chabbewal with the aim of providing better health services to the general public. The work was formally started. The PHC building will be expanded, under which four OPDs, Ayush OPD, physiotherapy centre, two delivery rooms, medical store, lift, operation theatre, two wards, staff room and toilets will be built on both floors for the convenience of patients in the new double-storied building. An interlock road and parking space will also be prepared till the main building. Fire-fighting equipment will also be installed in the PHC to prevent any untoward incident.

Dr Raj Kumar said the government is running a special campaign health and education, so that residents get every facility in these essential areas. After the construction of the new PHC building, the residents of the area will not have to go to the city, the MP said.
