Mohali: As many as 1,215 persons tested positive for Covid during the past 24 hours in the district. No death was reported from the district till Friday evening. Among the new cases, four surfaced in Lalru, 16 in Dera Bassi, 19 in Banur, 64 in Boothgarh, 85 in Gharuan, 97 in Kurali, 143 in Dhakoli, 310 in Kharar and 477 in the Mohali (urban) area. TNS

441 cases in Panchkula

Panchkula: At a positivity rate of 17.51 per cent, Panchkula recorded 441 Covid cases on Friday. The active caseload now stands at 2,594. While the overall tally reached 35,327, the death count remained at 382.
