The city reported one more Covid-19 death, taking the toll to 41, and 167 fresh cases of the virus, pushing the tally to 3,376.

RLA closed for 3 days

The RLA, UT, will remain closed from August 27 to 29 as two staff members have tested positive for the virus. During this period, the office will be sanitised and the services will be resumed on August 31.

A 73-year-old man from Ram Darbar, a case of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acute kidney injury with respiratory failure and septic shock, who had tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, died at the GMC, Sector 32, today. The number of active cases has reached 1,537, while the tally of cured patients in the city stands at 1,796. — TNS
